New Blogger/New Knitter

I've been knitting since March.  I'm totally addicted now.  I have a nice stash growing, and a nice list of FO's I'm quite proud of!  I'm on a hat kick at the moment.  Just finished a few for my daughters, Lauren, 13, and Leigha 8.  My dh Roger even got one, (although I'll be very surprised if he wears it).  I really want to get started on Christmas.  I do have one scarf finished, and a Booga Bag that will be gifted.  I think after the hat kick, I'll start on some matching scarves.  I called my blog Hard Rock Knitter because that's what I love to listen to the most.  Maybe more hard rock alternative, but that seemed too long.  :-) Nothing I like better than sitting out on my front porch, drinking coffee, knitting, and listening to Slacker Radio.  Ah, that's my bliss right there!  Here are a few pics of some of my FO's, and also a few of what I'm working on at the moment.
My first cable project.
Love it so much I am making one in green too.  The color is much prettier in person.
A few of my hats.  The white is Lauren's, purple is Leigha's.  The black and red is for my nephew who loves GA Bulldogs.  The red one was my very first project.  It's really huge and full of holes.  HaHa
Close up of the white.  It's so cute, although I feel slightly Amish when I wear it.
Another Booga Bag I'm working on.

Making my new grandbaby Gracie some legwarmers.
Thought I needed a shawl.  My first projected knitted off the top of my head.  It's knit with 3 different colors.
Close up, although it looks all mushed up and weird.  It's actually quite pretty.
And finally a picture of little ole me.  I like seeing pictures of other bloggers, so I figured I would post one of
me.  Not the best, but what I look like most of the time. So nice long first post I guess.  My goal with this is to keep me on the right track with my knitting.  I have a lot of projects started at the moment.  This is pretty rare for me though.  I normally only work on no more than 2 things at once.  But we went to Joann's on Sunday, and I had all this pretty new yarn to play with, I just kept starting new things.  That purple hat took me one day to make, and now my fingers are all kinds of sore.  Haha  So anyhoo, signing off for now!  Happy knitting, and keep on rocking.
